Introducing Theater Plus! After Dark, where the big kids come to play. We'll be kicking things off with auditions for a brand new comedy—yes, you can be in a world premiere!

You only need to attend one date.
Saturday, November 28th, 1pm to 4pm
Monday, November 30th, 7pm to 9pm
Rehearsals
Flexible!
This play is built on short vignettes, so it's easy to rehearse. This allows us to be flexible and schedule thoughtfully to use everyone's time wisely.
Performances
January 8th and 9th
Performances will be held at Sanctuary Church on Rte 139 in Marshfield, Ma

ABOUT THE SHOW: It's Just Dinner by John Shanahan
A vignette-based comedy about love and relationships, set in a restaurant. Four waiters escort you to a series of tables where first dates, tricky conversations, breakups, and more play out with touches of magical realism and absurdism.
If Almost, Maine and Check, Please went on a date, fell in love, and had a baby, that little muffin would be It’s Just Dinner.
It's Just Dinner is a modular play that supports a flexible cast. None of the roles are necessarily age- or gender-specific because relationship stories and issues can be universal. This gives directors the freedom to cast as they see fit or as their audition turnout dictates, and actors can explore these characters as they envision them, unburdened by a more directly defined role.
We are casting adult actors of all ages. We actively encourage and welcome performers of all races, ethnicities, gender identities, sexual orientations, ages, cultures, and physical abilities.
